well, i did it... today i upgraded my reservation to concierge level at the animal kingdom lodge. going to be keeping my fingers crossed for the next 238 days, hoping that we dont get stuck with a pool view room...
that's right! another WDW vacation is on the calendar, though it feels like it's ages away. though the trip isn't until october i am
absolutely BEEEEEEEAAAAAAMIIIIING with excitement!
currently, we are booked at the
animal kingdom lodge with a savannah view room. - but i'm debating on changing that to a concierge room. only trouble is, concierge can't guarantee if you get a view of the pool (bleh) or a view of the savannah (whole reason for staying at the animal kingdom lodge, no?). i'm going to look into the situation a bit more, and then we'll see...
this trip is going to be
DYNAMITE!!!!! just take a look at some of the things i've got planned:
1. segway tour around epcot***i've been dying to ride a segway every since they came out, figures that dream would come true at disney world :) before world showcase opens at epcot you get to cruise through the contries on these personal motorized transports... though they are stripped down to only run at 5MPH, i still can't wait!
2. cirque de soleil*** i was not enthused about seeing this show at all when i was at disney world for a training seminar, but i sat on the edge of my seat during the entire performance - and i've been itching to see it again ever since.
3. mickey's not so scary halloween party***one of my favorite 'after hours' parties at the magic kingdom! who wouldn't love trick or treating thru the magic kingdom until midnight!
4. waterpark***planning on taking some time to just play and splash in the water - why not, since i've got about a kajillion 'plus' features left on previous park hopper tickets.
5. sunrise safari***this all depends on the upgrade to concierge level at the animal kingdom lodge, for the tour is only open for those guests. they bus you over to animal kingdom before the sun comes up to take a ride on kilamanjaro safari during sunrise... suppposedly the most amazing time to experience all the animals on the safari...
